In 2015, Alibaba came to VSA Partners to help them with the creation of their first annual report. After launching the largest IPO in history, Alibaba needed a report that helped really explain the ecosystem of their platform to the investor audience in the US.

We leaned heavily into data stories, animation, illustration, and a little dash of whimsey to capture Alibaba’s unique position in their customer’s lives.
